Corazon S. Atayde Memorial Foundation
The Corazon S. Atayde Memorial Foundation is a Philippine non-profit organization that wishes to extend her spirit of generosity by creating avenues of contribution towards causes that uplift other people’s lives. Through its flagship program, Learning English Through Stories (LETS) Read, the Corazon S. Atayde Memorial Foundation seeks to eradicate illiteracy in the Philippines at the primary level, focusing on public schools in underprivileged communities. By learning how to read, children once most at risk of being left behind by the public education system are no longer assured of failure and have a real chance at a brighter future.
