Panabo City Schools Empowered With STARBOOKS From BPI Foundation, Inc. And DOST XI

In a significant step towards enhancing educational resources in rural schools of Panabo City Division, ๐ฃ. ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฐ๐ผ ๐๐น๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐น, and ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ฎ๐น๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐น๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐น, are the proud new recipients of the ๐ฆ๐ง๐๐ฅ๐๐ข๐ข๐๐ฆ ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ด๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐น ๐น๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐. This initiative, courtesy of the BPI Foundation, Inc. (BPIFI) in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology XI (DOST XI), was marked by a celebratory turnover ceremony attended by notable education and community leaders.
The event, held earlier at Brgy. Tibungol, Panabo City, featured key speakers including OIC-Superintendent Jinky B. Firman, CESO VI, who extended heartfelt thanks to BPIFI and DOST XI for this program extended to Panabo City. Firman underscored the importance of the STARBOOKS facilities in fostering a robust educational environment, urging school heads and teachers to integrate this tool into their lesson planning and research activities.
Expressing mutual appreciation, Engr. Judy Donna Nueva Ecija, Provincial Set Director of DOST XI, thanked the Department of Education (DepEd) for embracing the partnership, which aims to enrich the learning experience through advanced technology.
Representatives from BPIFI, including Juvilyn S. Reviva, Associate Director, and Melanie Magbuhos, Program Manager, reiterated their commitment to supporting DepEdโs mission. Their message, โLove for Humanity, Aahon Tayong Lahat,โ reflects their vision for uplifted communities through accessible, quality education.
Reynaldo Morales Jr., DOST XI Science Research Assistant, detailed the functionalities and new features of the STARBOOKS units, enhancing attendeesโ understanding of how these tools can benefit students and teachers alike.
School Heads, Oscar Pales from PCES, and Mac Donald Jabonillo from Katualan ES expressed their gratitude and committed to maximizing the use of these resources for the advancement of their educational engagements.
The event also saw participation from various stakeholders, including curriculum supervisors EPS Ylcy B. Mangulimotan, PSDSs Maria Nenita G. Tuazon, Marissa Y. Manginsay, and Reynaldo P. Deocampo Jr.; BPI officials with Briand Romano, Branch Manager Panabo, and Jayson Juanillo, Loan Associate; DOST XI personnel, Leselle Abatol, Senior Science Research Specialist, Engr. Jhunrey Vistal, Project Technical Aide; Clint James Pardilla, Science Research Specialist; Nikko Paรฑa, Project Technical Aide; and local community leaders with PTA President Rev. Ryan Gumapac, Brgy. Officials Leizel Batoon and Jonelyn Solomon, all underscoring the collective effort toward educational development in Panabo City.
