𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 | The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) through DOST XII Cotabato officially distributed STARBOOKS units to Libertad Elementary School, Jose Rizal Elementary School, Concepcion Elementary School, and Garsika Elementary School in Makilala, Cotabato.

With the support of Municipal Councilor Hon. Dimple Caoagdan, the initiative aims to give students and teachers free access to a digital library containing thousands of science, technology, and innovation resources even without an internet connection.

The DOST-STARBOOKS (Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated KioskS) serves as an offline digital learning hub designed to enhance classroom instruction, promote scientific literacy, and inspire young learners to pursue science and technology-related fields.

Through this initiative, DOST XII Cotabato hopes to strengthen science education, nurture curiosity among learners, and equip teachers with digital tools to improve instruction. It also complements the local government’s education programs, ensuring that no learner is left behind in the growing digital era.
