The Department of Science and Technology-Provincial S&T Office Pangasinan (DOST-Pangasinan), conducts STARBOOKS Orientation and User's Training on March 24, 2025 at Calasiao Comprehensive National High School.

STARBOOKS, or the Science and Technology Academic Research-Based Openly Operated Kiosks, is a stand-alone digital library developed by DOST- Science and Technology Information Institute designed for schools with limited access to science and technology resources.

Mr. Edward E. Ugale, Science Research Specialist I and STARBOOKS deployment officer, facilitates the Orientation and User Training of 10 teachers and 12 Junior and Senior High School students.

Additionally, Mr. Brenn Justin P. Guevarra, Project Technical Assistant I, promotes the DOST-Science Education Institute Undergraduate Scholarship Program to encourage students to pursue careers related to Science, Technology, and Innovation.
