DOST Visits Maribojoc for STARBOOKS MOA Signing

The Municipality of Maribojoc proudly hosted representatives from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) for the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on the implementation of STARBOOKS (Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated Kiosk System).

Vice Mayor Engr. Emilio Castilla represented the Municipality during this significant event, demonstrating Maribojoc's commitment to fostering knowledge and innovation in the community.

STARBOOKS is an award-winning digital library developed by the DOST Science and Technology Information Institute (STII). It provides offline access to thousands of resources on science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), and other fields of knowledge, aiming to empower schools, students, and communities.

This partnership is a leap forward for Maribojoc's educational landscape, ensuring that even those in remote areas can access valuable learning materials.
