Cerebro enters partnership with DOST-STII

Cerebro has officially entered into a partnership with the DOST-Science and Technology Information Institute (STII) for the continuing professional development of teachers, particularly those who are implementing the DOST-STARBOOKS project within their institutions.

This partnership is the third engagement of #Cerebro within the DOST Philippines system, with the other two being with the DOST PCIEERD and the Technology Application and Promotion Institute.

STARBOOKS (Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated Kiosks) contain hundreds of thousands of digitized science and technology resources in text, audio, and video formats housed in specially designed “pods" that function as a digital library, which is also intended to be highly transportable to reach the furthest locations in the Philippines including the off-grid sites, conflict areas, and the remotest indigenous communities.

Aside from assisting in the capacity building of #STARBOOKS implementers, Cerebro has also committed to include its collection of digital content in the various STARBOOKS kiosks located in different public and private schools nationwide that can be operated even without internet connection.
