Thousands of students from Upper Bicutan National High School (𝐔𝐁𝐍𝐇𝐒) are now benefiting from the innovative science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) courses offered through DOST's 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 & 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐊𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐤 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐊𝐒) technology. This initiative is made possible by a 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐌𝐎𝐀) signed between UBNHS and DOST- National Capital Region (𝐃𝐎𝐒𝐓-𝐍𝐂𝐑) last 𝟐𝟐 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐨-𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐔𝐁𝐍𝐇𝐒 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬, 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐬 𝐀𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐞, 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐠.

DOST-STARBOOKS is a digital library that offers thousands of scientific journals, books, references, and science and technology resources through specially designed "pods" in a user-friendly interface. This is also one of DOST-NCR's efforts to provide S&T resources to students, out-of-school youth, and the public who lack easy access to libraries and science information.
