STARBOOKS 4G Deploys to Four (4) LGUs in Bohol

STARBOOKS for Governance, also known as STARBOOKS 4G, officially enters four (4) local government units of Bohol on its initial deployment to the island to deliver local governance information and learning materials from the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Bohol on Wednesday.

The city of Tagbilaran, along with the municipalities of Baclayon, Panglao, and Sikatuna, received the STARBOOKS 4G-equipped units.

The remaining forty-four (44) municipalities on the island were planned to be given the digital library-in-a-box in the future in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by the Department of Science and Technology - Science and Technology Information Institute (DOST-STII), DOST Region No. VII through the Provincial Science and Technology Office (PSTO) of Bohol and the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) of Bohol.

STARBOOKS 4G is the governance version of the regular STARBOOKS that houses DILG-issued materials, programs, and news.
