STARBOOKS 4G Orientation at the Metro Center Hotel, Tagbilaran

Field officers and IT representatives from different local government units (LGUs) of Bohol attended the STARBOOKS 4G Users’ Orientation and Training at the Metro Centre Hotel, Tagbilaran City on Tuesday.

Gracing the event were DILG-Bohol Provincial Director Jerome G. Gonzales and PSTO-Bohol Provincial Director Vina R. Antopina, who each gave introductory speeches about the STARBOOKS 4G project. DOST -STII Information Resource and Analysis Division (IRAD) Chief Alan C. Taule gave a brief overview of STARBOOKS, and STARBOOKS Unit Head Marievic V. Narquita showcased the features of STARBOOKS 4G.

The LGU representatives had the opportunity to test STARBOOKS 4G by interacting with the available kiosks set up at the event.

STARBOOKS 4G aims to enhance the capabilities of the Local Governance Resource Center (LGRC) of the DILG-Bohol Province by making the local governance learning and information materials accessible to its constituents across the province.
