Memorandum of Agreement Signing between DOST-Science and Technology Information Institute, DepEd Schools Division of Bacoor, and DOST-CALABARZON to bring STARBOOKS to learning institutions in the city..
The signing event was held at the Multipurpose Hall, Bacoor Elementary School, Cavite on 24 May 2024. This collaboration aims to enhance STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics) literacy in the city by providing students and educators with free access to STARBOOKS offline, a vast repository of e-learning resources that can be used even without internet connectivity.
Reynaldo A. Morales, Jr., a member of the STARBOOKS unit, led a comprehensive user orientation session on the background and history of STARBOOKS. Morales also explained the functionalities, features, and contents of STARBOOKS through a hands-on demonstration with the participants.
