STARBOOKS Deployed to Three Neg Occ Schools

STARBOOKS-ready computer units from the DOST-Science and Technology Information Institute and BPI Foundation, Inc. were deployed to three Negros Occidental schools in turnover rites held at the School Division Office (SDO) in San Carlos City on 14 May 2024.

This event was conducted in coordination with DOST Region VI, Negros Occidental Provincial Science and Technology Office, Colegio de Sto. Tomas - Recoletos, and SDO San Carlos City.

The recipients of the complete computer packages include Ansulag Elementary School, Katiclan Elementary School, and Nabataan Elementary School.

This initiative is part of BPI Foundation's "Kasama Lahat sa Pag-unlad" advocacy to build a sustainable, inclusive, and financially well Philippines, and DOST-STII's mission of disseminating science, technology, and innovation learning resources through STARBOOKS.

This partnership will allow 30 remote schools across the Philippines to have access to free, state-of-the-art learning resources.
