DOST-MIMAROPA Expands Digital Learning Access with STARBOOKS Installation in Occidental Mindoro

DOST-MIMAROPA, through its Provincial S&T Office in Occidental Mindoro, successfully installed and demonstrated the DOST Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated KioskS (STARBOOKS) at Pedro T. Mendiola Sr. Memorial National High School (PTMSMNHS) in Barangay Bagong Sikat, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.

DOST-STARBOOKS, the country’s first science and technology digital library, provides offline access to a vast collection of learning materials, journals, and publications related to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The initiative aims to enhance learning resources for students and faculty, particularly in areas with limited internet connectivity.
