The DOST-MIMAROPA through its Romblon Provincial Office successfully conducted a DOST STARBOOKS Operation Training for students and teachers under the Special Needs Education (SNED) curriculum of Odiongan North Central Elementary School (ONCES), Odiongan South Central Elementary School (OSCES), and Odiongan National High School (ONHS) at the Tech4Ed Center of ONCES, Brgy. Batiano, Odiongan, Romblon.

A total of seventeen (17) delighted participants composed of students, teachers, and a representative from Odiongan Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) eagerly explored the vast collection of STEM-related interactive coursewares, educational games, and lessons inside STARBOOKS. The hands-on experience helped them appreciate how this Filipino-developed digital learning resource can enhance education. We, at the DOST, are excited to see how these students and teachers can make learning more engaging and accessible through STARBOOKS!

This activity is just one of DOST-MIMAROPA's initiatives in promoting inclusivity and enhancing education for all through science, technology, and innovation.
