The DOST-Science and Technology Information Institute, together with the Association of Science and Mathematics Educators of Public and Private Schools (ASMEPPS), deployed STARBOOKS-ready computer units with kiosks to two public schools schools in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija on 19 February 2025.

More than 300 learners and 30 teachers from Bakero Elementary School and Bagong Buhay Elementary School will benefit from the free science, technology, and innovation (STI) resources in STARBOOKS as it also features K-12 learning materials.

Elaborating about STARBOOKS contents and features, Reynaldo A. Morales, Jr., a member of the STARBOOKS unit, explained the technological functionalities of the STARBOOKS unit through a hands-on demonstration with teachers and students.

To date, STARBOOKS have been installed in more than offline 8,800 sites nationwide.
